About Notts Websites
Notts Websites is part of Webb Worlds Ltd. We have been designing, building and hosting websites since 1996.
The complete process of each website design and building is done in-house at our offices in Newark-On-Trent.
We on our own servers, therefore all website hosting, email and backup servers are local. As they are UK based, compliance with the GDPR international data transfer rules is much easier.
Webb Worlds Ltd became incorporated as a limited company in September 1996.
For 12 years, Webb Worlds was based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. In 2008, Webb Worlds moved to new offices in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Then in 2015, Webb Worlds moved to Newark-On-Trent, Nottinghamshire.
Initially, Webb Worlds had it's own website software system called SiteMaster®, in some ways it was a Content Management System similar to WordPress (which wasn't created until much later, May 2003) but SiteMaster® had many additional features. It also offered e-commerce and e-catalogue, advanced mailing list software, simple web form creation and much more. However, times have changed and so have customer requirements too. Since 2013, Webb Worlds have been creating websites without SiteMaster®, using HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript — just like this website. However, we use WordPress or other CMS software if required.
In 2019, Webb Worlds began to concentrate on the server administration, hosting and domain names. Thus a new brand, Notts Websites, was formed to continue the website design element of the business.

Webb Worlds did a fantastic job. We are a scaffolding company and as you may appreciate we are not particularly Internet savvy. However we now look after and manage our own website using their SiteMaster software which is great. Webb Worlds looked after us every step of the way constantly communicating with us and even when we changed our minds they were great. They never charged us any extra and we did change our minds quite a few times which really surprised us as our previous web designers charges for everything.
